Here is a new painting I'll be adding to my shop. I truly love encaustic painting, but photographs of the texture in the encaustic wax just don’t show up very well in the photos. This painting is done in black and white encaustic. The black has circles and dots in a fantastic shinny texture.

I sooooo agree about the texture in photographs thing. I am all about texture in my painting and everyone that sees them say that the pictures really don't do them justice. Maybe we need 3D cameras!
