Tell us a little bit about yourself.
I'm a Greek-Australian living in sunny
. As a student in Greece Australia, I remember studying the impressionists and a book that said how the artists flocked to a particular part of because of the light. Back then, it puzzled me, but when I came to France as an adult, I got it. I cannot find words to describe it accurately but the light here is special; it's magical. What inspires you to create?
I find inspiration everywhere. A random image in a magazine, book or blog, an arrangement of shapes or colour, nature of course and so much more. Anywhere I look, I see something that triggers my own interpretation of it. The stimulus is just a starting point for my imagination to take off, and then I just try to keep up...
Aside from making your beautiful pieces what do you like to do for fun.
I love reading books- even though it's not something I do much of lately. And at the risk of sounding flat, my fun is getting lost in colours, textures, and shapes.
The best time of my day is when the sun begins to set, things start to wind down, and I know that I can look forward to time on my own to do or make the things that have been floating around in my head all day.
