Beach Walk for Treasures . . .

The other morning I went along with my daughter's 4th grade class to a local beach.
The weather looked threatening, but it was actually quite mild and comfortable.
Living on an  island our 4th grade aged children study islands.

On this trip, the kids were to find a "treasure" to help with inspiration for creative writing.
The treasure must fit in the palm of your hand, could not be alive or stinky and  must come from the Puget Sound or have spent a long time in the Sound.
After the treasures were gathered it was time for snacks in the covered area.
A fun and successful treasure hunt.
