This is a new encaustic painting I have in my shop. It is a painting I created of a view from the island where I live.
This encaustic painting is made using a print of one of my oil paintings adhered to a wood block and then highlighting it with encaustic paint in blue, green, yellow and white.I like the impressionistic effect the encaustic paint gives this piece.
