Cannon Beach, Oregon

Over President's Day weekend, my family and I took a trip down the coat to Oregon.
We stayed in the cute village of Cannon Beach.
This quaint place has a population of about 1,500 during the winter months and then in the summer a tourist population of about 24,000.
For us, this was a peaceful little town. It was great, we could wonder around and enjoy the place without all the tourist crowds.
There is a beautiful sandy beach and some amazing rock formations. This one is called Haystack Rock.
This natural sculpture is quite magnificent and beautiful any time of the day.
The weather was cool, but we did have some sun. This is such a pretty little town and I know we will visit again.

  1. I LOVE Canon Beach! I lived there for awhile, before moving to Seattle! Every late winter/spring the Puffins nest on Haystack Rock, so it gets really crazy with all the noise and tourists, great photos!
