Bird Art Photography Prints

Start the new year with some affordable wall art. I have bird photo prints in my shop in lots of sizes. These prints look fantastic grouped together. You can see some of my original photography here

Vintage China Wall Art

I have been collecting vintage china dishes for years. There are so many beautiful patterns and designs.
I thought it would be fun to use some of these china plates as canvases and paint some of my bird images.
It's also fun to take an old photo and use a china plate as a picture frame. A large circle hole punch makes it easy to cut the photo (I used a color copy of the original photo.) Then a bit of glue to attach the round photo to the plate.

At 11 I Didn't Like the Boys . . .

 . . . he is my uncle.
I have used a sweet vintage photo of a young girl in this new encaustic mixed media painting.
The layers of vintage papers, vintage photos and paint seem to tell a story.
I like the color combination of the brown dress makers paper and the turquoise "bubbles."
