Maw & Paw

I came across this adorable couple the other day. Maw and Paw are a pair of vintage 1950's porcelain figurines from Japan.

 They are in excellent condition and have some great details.

Maw is sitting with a book smoking her pipe while Paw is working on a shoe with a hammer and small nail.

I don't know if this couple is suppose to be Ma & Pa Kettle from the Egg and I. (Probably not, Pa never did any work.)

It's really fun finding unique and unusual items.
