DIY - Vintage Shell Button Bobby Pins

I love vintage buttons and I am always looking for ways to use these lovely treasures from the past. These cute bobby pins are so easy to make and they add a bit of shabby chic charm to your outfit.
A while back I did a  tutorial on a vintage button ring. I still have lots of wonderful old buttons made from shells and I thought I would make some bobby pins using the buttons.
You will need some buttons in different sizes. I used a larger button and then some smaller buttons.
I then glued the smaller buttons onto the larger button. I let the glue set overnight.
The glue I use is a  jewelry making glue called E-6000. I got this glue at Jo-Ann's Fabric store.
The next day glue the cluster of buttons onto the bobby pins. Once again let the glue set over night.
And there you go, a super cute shabby chic bobby pin - perfect for summer.
