Downton Abbey is a fantastic BBC series and is one
of my favorite T.V. shows.
This beautiful production is set in an English, Edwardian country house in 1912.
The
series portrays the lives of the Crawley
family and the servants who work for them.
One of the highlight of Downton is Maggie Smith, who plays the delightfully snobby Lady Grantham. Smith uses her imperious stare to great effect, especially
when discussing electricity and/or Americans.
Another highlight of this show is the exquisite costume designs.
So excited for season 3. It begins
in the US
on January 6, 2013 on PBS. If you have not watch the first two seasons of Downton
you have plenty of time before the new season.
