Butterfly KISSES & More . . .

I've started taking photos of my mini encaustic paintings having my oldest daughter holding the paintings. I really like how one can see the size of these "mini" paintings. All of these paintings are available in my shop .

  1. Hi, your work is simply beautiful! We are preparing to move and I want to be really picky with what I display on my soon-to-be new walls. I will certainly purchase something from you this spring.

I wasn't sure of the technique you use until I researched it (encaustic painting) it sounds very complicated to me (maybe because I have zero artistic talent). I'm curious about the crow that I see repeatedly on your work. Are they drawings made with ink?

Thanks for your wonderful art, it truly is gorgeous, I will be purchasing something from you very shortly.

  2. Dear Marjo,
Thanks for you kind compliments on my encaustic art. Encaustic is a fantastic medium and actually much more beautiful "in person." The photos really don't do the paintings justice. Most of the crows that I have in my paintings are photographs of crows I have taken. I then manipulated the photography and create an image transfer that I make on tissue paper and embed into my painting.
    Best,
    Susan
