The other day while on a trip into town I stopped by a yard sale and I was lucky enough to find a collection of vintage lace collars.
I purchased these beautiful pieces right away. Not sure what I'm going to do with them yet.
I may create some lace bracelet cuffs or use the lace in my paintings.
Although, I think I'm going have a hard time cutting these pieces since the collars are really works of art in themselves.

ReplyDeleteI have some that my mom gave me but I can't decide what to do with them because I can't bear to cut them up.
I would love to see what you decide to make from them.
I have that problem too - can't bear to cut up vintage lace & vintage fabric. It helps when there isn't a sentimental attachment to them. Not sure what will happen to these lovelies, but I have some ideas in the works.
